Hello everyone and a specially warm welcome to Tenia of Jazzy Paper Designs who is recent new follower. Tenia is a talented Jazz pianist who papercrafts in her spare time and has a place on a squillion Design Teams so her blog is always full of great inspiration. Welcome too to Shirley-Anne of Stamping for Joy. Shirley-Anne has been crafting for more that 12 years and is also on a number of Design Teams. I spotted this on one of her recent blog posts and it certainly spoke to me.
I think I need to put this on my fridge door! And last but definitely not least, welcome to Gail of Crafty Creations, who has been blogging for a little more than a year now and has lots of cute cards to inspire you and has just started on her first Design Team.
Well we're now back from our travels and the scheduled posts seemed to work okay.Thank you for all your good wishes on our 40th Anniversary, and we had a great time celebrating over quite a long period!!! Its back to earth with a bang now and I can't believe how close to Christmas it is with hardly a present bought yet. The Papertrey Ink Blog Hop is going to help my Christmas card stash because this time Nichole says
The theme for this month is snow! Dig out your favorite snow stamps and snowflake dies. Create the illusion of snow with glitter or mica flakes. Make some snow filled shaker elements with beads or sequins. Whatever you decide, get creative and create your own winter wonderland with your paper crafting supplies!
I came up with this card
I took a kraft card panel and stamped it with an Impression Obsession striped background stamp. When the ink had dried I cut it with a stitched rectangle die, and then stamped lots of snowflakes from PTI Snowfall and Snowflake Serenade, and embossed them with white embossing powder. I die cut the Merry in pure poppy card and stamped the Christmas sentiment underneath. A few red pearls finished it off and I then mounted it onto a Kraft card base.
Looking forward to seeing what everyone comes up with.
I'd like to play along with the following challenges
A Gem of a Challenge - kraft plus another colour
Crafting when we can - clean and simple
Scrapers delights challenge - anything goes
Thanks for stopping by.
